Jaco du Toit was born in Klerksdorp but later moved to Worcester with his parents, where he matriculated at Montana High School. He obtained his accounting degree at Stellenbosch University, B Compt Honours degree at Unisa and post graduate diploma at Stellenbosch. He landed an internship at Greenwoods in Cape Town and then went on to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax from the University of Stellenbosch.

He joined the firm in 2004 but still resides in Stellenbosch. He is married to Michelle and they have two daughters. Jaco enjoys social get-togethers where he appreciates good food and good wine. Triathlons keep him in shape. His area of expertise at the firm is Audits and Taxes.
